This morning’s review of Dark Horse in St. Paul raised an interesting quandary internally: how is the general public meant to keep track of all the horse and horseish places open and opening in the Twin Cities and beyond? A horse is a horse, of course, of course, but if you end up at Draft Horse in Minneapolis when you meant to meet friends at Workhorse Coffee Bar in St. Paul, the discrepancy will surely be annoying. With any luck, the chaos will end soon as everyone’s fancy turns toward delicious barbecue, and we can start worrying about disentangling various delicious pigs and hogs and shacks.
