Dara’s obsessive quest to revive Schumacher’s, the famous German-Czech restaurant and hotel in New Prague, has apparently hit paydirt: after a multi-year hiatus, the place is back in business come August.

Woohoo Chef John…bring it on! I wish they were closer to town, but they are worth the trip to the prairie.
It’s about time. Not only is it worth the trip, but you must take a slight detour to Odenthal’s Meats to pick up the best brats you’ll ever find. Before leaving the town, pick up some kolaches at the nearby Econofoods.
