An Oscar-Worthy Dinner

Each year as the Oscars get under way, I regret not planning a grander event to celebrate such an occasion. Perhaps an Oscar-themed costume party like the one my parents attended years ago (my mother dressed as Björk…remember the swan gown?) Or maybe an elegant dinner party with some friends (a great excuse to open a bottle of bubbly on a Sunday night)?

Turn some heads in your kitchen with this Oscar-worthy menu inspired by the 2009 Academy Award-nominated Best Motion Picture films.

A menu like this does take a bit of planning and patience, but the pay-off is worth it.

Tune in to watch The Oscars on Sunday, Feb. 22, 7pm CST on ABC.
