The YumMi banh mi food truck makes its debut today 10:30am-2pm at Nicollet and 11th in Minneapolis. Menu items include the Oink Mi (“Vietnamese-style caramel-braised pork belly / shoulder, pickled carrot and daikon, cucumber, cilantro, Sriracha aioli”) and the Moo Mi (“Korean-style marinated beef, spicy cucumber carrot slaw, cilantro, Sriracha aioli”) as well as chicken, veggie, and occasional tilapia or shrimp versions of the popular cross-cultural sandwich.
