89.3 (The Current) DJ Steve Seel, Dara Moskowitz Grumdahl (presumably wearing a nutty wig), and Corner Table chef Scott Pampuch will gather at the Varsity Theater on Wednesday, May 6 from 6-7pm for a Policy and a Pint discussion of the challenges of eating locally. $10 ticket price includes appetizers from the Loring Pasta Bar.

Wish I had know about this earlier and could attend. Relative to the local food conversation; Mill City Farmers Market will have our opening day this SATURDAY MAY 9th and our great local vendors will be back. The season is early this year so we’ll have farmers with produce in tow (radishes, lettuces, bok choy, asparagus, nettles etc.) Please send folks down- Saturday 8-1.
