Editor’s note: We’ve been fortunate enough to be flooded with interested applicants, so we’re closing the review period for prospective contributors at the end of day Tuesday, April 29.
The Heavy Table is seeking a couple of new writers to contribute reviews and other content to the magazine. The duties are relatively light (contributions on a monthly or bi-weekly basis) but allow for exploration of the Upper Midwestern food scene’s most intriguing new features: the best chefs, the most interesting off-the-beaten-path restaurants, the oddest (and often best) eats.
Added benefits include the opportunity to work with our talented photography team and the occasional (but guaranteed delicious) staff gathering.
Ideally, one of these new contributors would have a special interest in beer / wine / spirits, and the other would have an unquenchable thirst for off-the-grid hidden gem restaurants.
