Redhead Creamery is doing a series of events on the farm this month to celebrate American Artisan Cheese Month. Andy Sturdevant presents the ur-myth for the creation of Midwestern specialty hamburgers, and then unveils a Midwest regional burger creation myth generator. Rick Nelson raves up Brasserie Zentral (here’s our review.) Stillwater’s Maple Island Brewing opens, as does Gull Dam Brewing in Nisswa. Red Table Meats (helmed by justifiably respected charcuterie artisan Mike Phillips, pictured) debuts. The Well Fed Guide to Life visits the Lowbrow. And Bon Bree Brick cheese (originally from  Mapleton, Wisconsin) is back on the market.
