Rick Nelson compiles a Hot Five Valentine’s dining deals list, including, somewhat inexplicably, a McCormick & Schmick’s “deal” for $29.95 per person. Granted, that’s steak and lobster, but yikes nonetheless.

Rick Nelson under-appreciates Pizza Nea by saying Punch is its “critics’-darling neighbor.” Most I’ve talked with prefer Nea better. That said, unless they’re looking for authentic D.O.C. margherita, I will generally take out-of-towners to Pizza Nea over Punch.
