On Oct. 9, Meritage is hosting Oysterfest, an oyster party made particularly special by the debut of Lift Bridge’s new Oyster Stout – a beer made with oyster shells from Meritage. There’ll be oyster farmers on hand doing the shucking, and the price ($25 including a dozen oysters, a pint of Stout, and a commemorative pint glass) really can’t be beat.
