Via an email from Beard Award-winning Chef Isaac Becker (112 Eatery, Bar La Grassa): “Isaac Becker, Nancy St. Pierre, and Ryan Burnet are excited to officially announce they are opening a new restaurant in the old Burch Pharmacy location on the corner of Franklin Street and Hennepin Avenue in South Minneapolis. Opening date should be around late fall/early winter of 2012.” No firm word yet on style of food, although we’ve heard “Italian-influenced steakhouse” bouncing around. UPDATE: Rick Nelson reports, yes, it’ll be a steakhouse, and the name will be Burch. Possible menu items will be test-driven first Tuesday of every month at 112 Eatery.
