Cake Eater Bakery in Minneapolis is closing July 10. As per the farewell message on the bakery’s website: “We have had some financial hardships, and coupled with our desire to be more available for our families, it is our decision to close the bakery.” Cake Eater will have a farewell open house from 10am-4pm on July 10.

Bummer. Amazing that two restaurants have now closed in that location. I really miss the Cliquot Club Cafe, that was a great place.
We only went to Cake Eater once, and while the food was good, it took almost 45 minutes to get our pancakes and biscuits and gravy.
