A new Wisconsin cheese organization, Wisconsin Cheese Originals, has just launched. Founded by writer Jeanne Carpenter, the group is aiming to showcase original Wisconsin cheeses and cheesemakers; its first big event is a cheese festival at Madison’s Monona Terrace, Nov. 6-7.
