OpenTable Praises Four Local “Foodie” Restaurants and Morning Roundup

WCCO does a nice write-up of the upcoming North Coast Nosh, a look at urban farming, wackjobs “warn” about the “dangers” of Wisconsin cheese (nature’s perfect food), METRO visits the Gopher Bar — “Manliest Restaurant” in America according to Men’s Health (we got there a while back, and our illustrated review is a hell of a good read), four of OpenTable’s great foodie restaurants are local (Haute Dish, Heartland, Piccolo, and Saffron), a great profile of Target Field hot dog vendor Mike Vedder, a bucket list visit to India Cafe, and the proposed Smokehouse Brewpub has already raised $101,000 of its target of $160,000 from community investors (via the email newsletter of Minneapolis Council Member Gary Schiff).
