Hmong Village Market Set to Open and Morning Roundup

The grand opening of Hmong Village in St. Paul (a market that features, among other things, 35 produce booths and 17 restaurants) is next Saturday (also see our story on the Hmongtown Marketplace), Iggers gives Hibachi Buffet a “not as bad as you’d fear” sort of grade, a meal at Saffron recalled with words and pictures, Dara shares her fantasy restaurants (mine: a serious German-style riverfront beer garden / music venue), a Chowhound isn’t buying the “Tim McKee saved Il Gatto” storyline, adventures in sausage making, and “before and after” photos of the new Turtle Bread in Longfellow.
