The Wisconsin Artisan Cheesemaker Guild — a new, member-based organization for cheesemaker education and networking — debuts this week. Downtown Minneapolis’s Crooked Pint Ale House looks into expanding to South Lyndale. This year’s Dining Out For Life happens tomorrow, and the proceeds benefit The Aliveness Project and the Rural AIDS Action Network. And Minneapolis reevaluates the “60 / 40” rule to try to accommodate the effect of higher prices (and increased popularity) of craft beer changing the ratio of food to beverage sales.
