QUARTER/quarter in Harmony, MN

Via reader Marcia Brooks: “Steve Larson, a wonderful chef who used to run a B&B and cooking school in Harmony, MN, has now opened a wine bar & restaurant in the old firehouse in town called QUARTER/quarter. We used to stay at the B&B and marvel at his sumptuous breakfasts. Just opened Dec. 30 according to mention on the web. His partner and wife, Lisa Flicker, is now selling their produce as a CSA grower.”

I just visited this restaurant with my family this weekend while in Preston for the the weekend. The food is wonderful and the prices are reasonable for the amount and quality of food that they put out. We were there around 7:30 on Saturday night and it was hopping so I would suggest calling ahead for reservations.

Congratulations Steve and Lisa on the opening of your new resturant. We can’t wait to go there for dinner and lunch. We’re in Texas right now but when we get back and settled we will definatley be there.

Wonderful food with fresh ingredients skillfully prepared and nicely presented. Absolutely worth a drive to enjoy. Wait-staff seem to be well-trained and knowledgeable and very pleasant. The menu is creative and varied with many familiar items but always with a bit of a twist.

We can only wish Steve and Lisa the best as they put their skills on the line for all of us to enjoy. We especially like the concept of the small appetizers that allows for for interesting grazing.

Reservations are becoming a very good idea; we have been there several times and each time it seems busier than the last. We truly appreciate having this new choice in the area.

Would like to bring 24 ladies on April 9th. Do you have a special or discount for a larger group? Can we all be seated in the same area? We would like to eat at around 6:00-6:30. Do you have openings?
