A fairly amazing-sounding Better Beer Society brown bag series event at Butcher & the Boar, some revised menus at local restaurants, a local foodie’s epic Mother’s Day feast, tasting notes for Summit Pilsner and Steel Toe’s Provider, the Star Tribune’s Taste 50, and a new urban farm in Minneapolis.
“Sadly, Tejas will serve its last meal at 50th & France on Wednesday, December 30, 2009,” writes the restaurant in an email to customers. The restaurant cites an “unreasonable” rent increase and states: “We are actively seeking a potential new location for Tejas; however, it is highly unlikely that any new location would be identified until mid 2010.”









I know a perfect location for them. 50th and France circa 1997.
