This post is sponsored by GermanFest MN.
GermanFest MN is this week at the historic Schmidt Brewery in St. Paul and has an incredible lineup of food for both days. The Germans are hearty people, so it goes without saying that their food is a reflection of that characteristic. Visitors to this inaugural festival will be treated to classic delicacies like bratwurst, sauerkraut, hot pretzels, and potato salad. Iconic German eateries and neighborhood favorites such as the Black Forest Inn, Shamrock’s, Bennett’s Chop and Railhouse, and Mojo Monkey Donuts are all attending. A selection of the Twin Cities’ best food trucks like the Taste of Target Field, Sandy’s Grill & Italian Ice, Anchor Food Truck, Rusty Taco, and Tot Boss will be selling modern culinary options. Enjoy a variety of traditional beer and wine from Paulaner, Schell’s, and Big Top Liquors in St. Paul’s largest beer garden. GermanFest runs Sat., June 21 from 10am-10pm, and Sun., June 22 from 10am-7pm.
