MoreMill City Farmers Market Tomorrow
The Mill City Farmers Market opens tomorrow, featuring free market shopping bags, a mini farm (baby goat!), and a cooking demo from Brett Olson of Renewing the Countryside. 2009’s new vendors include Aunt Else’s Æbleskiver, French Nugget all natural dark chocolate snacks, Local D’Lish foods store, and Love Tree Farm cheeses.

Dan Patterson from Rabbit’s Bakery in Lake City will be doing the local foods dinner (ramps! morels! bison brats!) accompanying this month’s Driftless 150 fundraiser bike tour from Afton State Park to Zumbro Falls. Money raised by the tour will benefit two causes: Renewing the Countryside and Two Wheel View.
