Solo Vino will be holding its first Annual Austrian-German Wine Tasting this Sunday, Oct. 19, at the Saint Paul Athletic Club in downtown Saint Paul from 2-5pm. We will be pouring more than 100 wines! The German focus will be on the grapes Riesling and Pinot Noir. From Austria we will be tasting Gruner Veltliner as well as Zweigelt. Other varietals from both of these countries will also be poured but the focus will be these four, main grapes. We will have catalogs presented to help manage the tasting and to serve as order forms for anyone interested in purchasing. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased online.
