Uptown’s Primebar restaurant and bar (owned by the Chicago-based Restaurants-America group), has shut its doors, posting the following on its Facebook page: “Unfortunately, we had to close our doors yesterday. We’re sorry to say goodbye, and thank you all for your loyalty. We hope our paths cross again in the future.” We weren’t big fans when they opened last summer, but Well Fed Guide to Life visited for happy hour recently and enjoyed their meal.
