We were so sorry to hear about the passing of Joni Wheeler, proprietor of Sugar Sugar. She was so delighted with the business of candy — this was obvious in all the delicious details of the space, the knickknackery and packaging, and how well she knew every candy and its origins. And she brought such warmth to the shop that it was always a pleasure to visit her there. She will be missed.
