Join Gardens of Eagan‘s birthday celebration, with a farm dinner that celebrates all things local, on Sunday, August 3, from 3:30-7:30pm.
Taya Kaufenberg, Culinary Director at the Wedge, will prepare a feast of chipotle-infused brisket, sweet and spicy quick pickles, emerald sesame kale salad, and other super-fresh vegetables grown right on the farm by Gardens of Eagan and its incubator farms, Bossy Acres and Humble Pie Farm. The menu will be entirely gluten-free (even the s’mores!) and utterly delicious. We’ll have plenty of s’mores fixings with fair-trade chocolate, gluten-free graham crackers, and homemade marshmallows for all, roasted over a crackling bonfire. Craft beer from Indeed Brewing, and basil-lemon artisan cocktails with Prairie Organic Vodka, will showcase the best in local brews and spirits.
Lounge picnic-style, take one of our tractor tours around the farm, and listen to live music, provided by Swo-Town, an accordion and fiddle duo who play everything from French street music to folk to quirky covers. Ever heard a Lady Gaga song played on accordion? Believe us, it’s a can’t-miss moment.
Help us toast a happy birthday to one of the pioneers of organic farming during a gorgeous summer evening on our Northfield farm. Children under 10 are free. Tickets are limited — get yours here!
