Happy Birthday to Traditional Foods Minnesota

In honor of its first birthday, buying club / “real food” warehouse Traditional Foods Minnesota is hosting a barbecue party Saturday from 10am to 3pm. It’ll be grilling grass-fed pork chops and bison burgers, as well as beef patties from Thousand Hills Cattle Company. Members and non-members are welcome [hat tip to reader Kris].

    Thanks for the tip! I hadn’t heard about this place yet, but have been trying to find a meat CSA, so maybe this would be a good substitute.

    Check out Lighthousefarm.com if you are interested in a meat CSA. Farmer John delivers to your door. All grass fed, I find the burgers more flavorful than 1000 hills.
