No-mayo potato salad, grass-fed mini burgers, crunchy swai with basil-goat cheese potato puree, curried pea soup, pickled rhubarb (etc.), white bean ragout, Italian sausage grill with gnocchi, leftover oatmeal pancakes, and cheddar chive buttermilk biscuits with extra creamy scrambled eggs.
Yarusso-Bros. Italian Restaurant (635 Payne Ave, St. Paul) is celebrating its grand reopening this weekend, just over five months after a fire destroyed the building. Stop by to congratulate the 76-year-old institution, enter to win gift certificates, and, on Sunday, enjoy all-you-can-eat spaghetti.

Oh man, I’m pretty excited about all you can eat spaghetti. And for $6! I’ll be there.
Thank goodness. I have stopped twice recently because the parking lot looked full. Turns out, if one person stops to check the door, everyone else driving by thinks it is open. We were a group of hungry but disappointed folks. I have been fooled by the eager diners more than once in the past month. Finally I can get my spaghetti fix on.
