No-mayo potato salad, grass-fed mini burgers, crunchy swai with basil-goat cheese potato puree, curried pea soup, pickled rhubarb (etc.), white bean ragout, Italian sausage grill with gnocchi, leftover oatmeal pancakes, and cheddar chive buttermilk biscuits with extra creamy scrambled eggs.
Star Tribune’s Chris Riemenschneider writes that Trocaderos near Minneapolis’ Warehouse District is now closed. He cites a note buried on their website as well as on their front door. Calls for comment from Trocaderos weren’t answered.









Well… sorry to speak ill of the dead, but they were terrible… really, really terrible. I went with a friend (Major Brand Representative sponsoring the show) ) on my last visit there to see a friend perform, and not only could we not get a table or a drink, but apparently nobody cared. Service– even poor service– is a necessary part of a venue’s function.
Kind of an interesting space, though. I hope someone can make a better go with it!
