No-mayo potato salad, grass-fed mini burgers, crunchy swai with basil-goat cheese potato puree, curried pea soup, pickled rhubarb (etc.), white bean ragout, Italian sausage grill with gnocchi, leftover oatmeal pancakes, and cheddar chive buttermilk biscuits with extra creamy scrambled eggs.
Small but significant changes at Kopplin’s, the St. Paul coffee shop known by many as the best in the area. They’re now serving sandwiches from the Corner Table, they’ve dropped decaf (following Starbucks, who dropped decaf this past February), and have stopped offering skim milk.









No skim? What a drag, that took the edge off ordering a cookie with my drink.
Starbucks only dropped decaf after noon. And they’ll still make it for you upon request, you just have to wait about 4 minutes while they brew a small pot.
