Chefs from Travail, Tilia, and Saffron are among the semifinalists in the Best Chef: Midwest category of the James Beard Awards; Marvel Bar (whiskey flight pictured above), Kim Bartmann, and Jamie Malone of Sea Change are among the locals in the national categories; and here are the awards from Madison’s perspective.
