No-mayo potato salad, grass-fed mini burgers, crunchy swai with basil-goat cheese potato puree, curried pea soup, pickled rhubarb (etc.), white bean ragout, Italian sausage grill with gnocchi, leftover oatmeal pancakes, and cheddar chive buttermilk biscuits with extra creamy scrambled eggs.
Tracy Paska, the writer behind the consistently excellent blog Tangled Noodle, appears at the Minneapolis Farmers Market this Sunday (Sep. 27) at 10:30am. Paska will prepare Smoked Trout Pasta with Horseradish Sauce using foods from the market: Star Prairie Trout and Sunrise Pasta. She’ll also prepare her version of Hell’s Kitchen wildly popular Mahnomin Porridge using Scenic Waters Wild Rice, Sandman Sugar Bush maple syrup, cream from Blackstar Dairy, and local berries.

Tracy is excellent in person, too. Easy-going and personable, she was a natural at cooking for the audience. Hell’s Kitchen Chef Mitch Omer came to watch and taste and talked about the history of the dish.
