Sarah Master is out at Barbette as of the end of the month, according to an email from the chef. Master, who grew up near Hibbing and cooked at Bayona in New Orleans (as well as Alma and Spoonriver locally), occasionally brought the taste of NOLA to Barbette with special tasting menus.
