Lyndale Tap House, initially called Anchor Bar, has opened will open in the former jP American Bistro space (2937 Lyndale Ave S). UPDATE: They’re opening Tuesday, September 29, 2009.

Wondering why they changed their name? I was, since Anchor Bar rings so nicely. When searching for info on a restaurant whose opening I was curious about, aha: The Anchor Fish and Chips. They must have gotten to the name first.
