A fairly amazing-sounding Better Beer Society brown bag series event at Butcher & the Boar, some revised menus at local restaurants, a local foodie’s epic Mother’s Day feast, tasting notes for Summit Pilsner and Steel Toe’s Provider, the Star Tribune’s Taste 50, and a new urban farm in Minneapolis.
The Midwestern incarnation of Funding Emerging Art with Sustainable Tactics (FEAST) is launching their inaugural public dinner at the Traffic Zone Center for Visual Art on Nov. 14. The premise is simple: Bring a $10-$20 donation to FEAST’s “locally sourced” dinner and place your vote for which art proposal should get all the money. No word yet on the menu; regardless, it’ll definitely be a good opportunity for you to rack up some cool points.
