Girl Friday strikes back at the Strib, which reported last week on restaurateur Kim Bartmann’s tax woes. Her attack works on multiple levels, including the plausible (the Strib may have blown its basic reporting), the emotional (“shouldn’t we be focusing intently on the positive right now?”) and the specious (“even if a story like this is 100% factual, is it really news?”) Yep — if true, it’s pretty much the definition of “news.”
