A fairly amazing-sounding Better Beer Society brown bag series event at Butcher & the Boar, some revised menus at local restaurants, a local foodie’s epic Mother’s Day feast, tasting notes for Summit Pilsner and Steel Toe’s Provider, the Star Tribune’s Taste 50, and a new urban farm in Minneapolis.
Grilled-to-order burgers, ice cream treats, and hot dogs will be the affordable ($5 or less) fare at the new summer-only Garden Grill by Wolfgang Puck; the mini-eatery will set up adjacent to the Walker Art Center’s Vineland Place terrace. The grill will be open Thursday evenings and weekend afternoons throughout the summer. “Get your summer on at the Walker,” suggests the press release, tentatively trying out the newly discovered “get your [X] on” slang concept.
