The Shepherd’s Way cheese CSA is accepting members, Rick Nelson on Tim McKee’s rescue mission over at Il Gatto (if our ho-hum meal there last night was any indication, his presence certainly can’t do much harm), a sweet map of Longfellow dining, and an announcement for Tavola Lirica, an operatic autumn dinner series. Also, via an email: Gophers football concessions this year will feature a signature cheddar brat, and local fare from La Loma.
Emily’s Lebanese Deli plans to renovate and expand its current building (641 University Ave NE, Minneapolis). Changes will include separating the deli from the restaurant, creating a roomier kitchen, and adding bathrooms downstairs. The restaurant will close for construction next spring.
