The Crispin Cider Company and the Heavy Table invite BBQ Masters of The Universe, chefs, and those who are “good with tongs” to submit their best recipes and Crispin Cider summer BBQ pairings for a chance to win $75 gift certificates to Lunds & Byerly’s.
Crispin is a crisp (not “sweet beer style”) super-premium natural hard apple cider especially designed to be enjoyed over ice. There are three distinctive varietals — Original is crisp over ice, Brut is European-style extra dry over ice, and Light is the first light cider in the US and is bright over ice.

The Golden Tongs: BBQ / grilling recipes that use Crispin as an ingredient. There are no limitations in terms of how Crispin can be used, but recipes should specify all ingredients, quantities, preparation instructions, time requirements, and serving instructions including plating.
The Silver Ice-Bucket: Delicious food pairings that feature Crispin Natural Hard Apple Cider. There are no limitations, but pairings must detail full food preparation, plating, and glassware.

Recipes and food pairings must specify whether you are using Crispin Original, Light, or Brut varietals.
The contest will run from July 23 through midnight Sunday, August 16. Winners will be announced in August 2009. Prizes will be awarded to winners in both categories.
