A fairly amazing-sounding Better Beer Society brown bag series event at Butcher & the Boar, some revised menus at local restaurants, a local foodie’s epic Mother’s Day feast, tasting notes for Summit Pilsner and Steel Toe’s Provider, the Star Tribune’s Taste 50, and a new urban farm in Minneapolis.
So says Pioneer Press’ Nancy Ngo. She promises more in Thursday’s paper.

Yikes! Haven’t been there for a while but have had some fabulous meals there. I hope the food doesn’t fall off.
Come on Ngo, spill. Why the teaser? How long is the story anyway?
The food will probably taste horrible now that the most noticeable chef in Minnesota has left. I can’t wait to see what happens next with Filippo! Good luck my man, it’s always nice to see you! I Nonni will definitley not be worth the money now that you left.
WOW, how can they let thier meal ticket get away? Sounds like the owners need to pick up some business 101 books. Stupid move, oh well, as foe me and many others, we’ll follow Filippo.
