2 Gingers Sold to the Makers of Jim Beam

As per a press release today, the Minneapolis-based whiskey brand 2 Gingers is going big time: “Now, a year after coming out to the industry, we have some news: Beam Inc., whose brands include Makers Mark, Jim Beam, and Knob Creek, has acquired Minnesota’s 2 GINGERS Irish Whiskey Brand. Cooley (the distiller of 2 GINGERS in Ireland) had been sold to Beam just as we came out last January.” [PDF of press release]
